Our first annual Bikes & Brews event is September 29th, 2018!
Celebrate local cycling, local craft brews, and local charities on this family friendly ride.
You can start at Benchtop Brewing or Millers ODU and pick up your wristband and route map.
Free Bike Bag for each paid participant; pick up at Smartmouth stop.
Follow the Elizabeth River Trail to local breweries and scavenger hunt stops, including Benchtop, Smartmouth, Bold Mariner and O’Connors tap take-over at Millers ODU.
Return to Smartmouth for an after party featuring a live band, prize drawings and food trucks.
Ticket price includes 5 tasting pours, live entertainment, handlebar bike bag, swag bag of snacks and water, prizes and a scavenger hunt – all to benefit the Millers Foundation and raise money for local charities.

1:30 pm Registration and Wristband pick up at Benchtop or Millers ODU
2:00 pm Ride begins with stops at Benchtop, Smartmouth, Bold Mariner, and Millers’ growler fill station featuring O’Connor Brewing.
3:30 pm Registration closes; Entertainment at Bold Mariner begins
4:30 pm Entertainment at Smartmouth begins
5:30 pm Prize Drawing at Smartmouth
6:00 pm Event ends

Your gift is a custom handlebar bike bag, featuring a cell phone display pocket, zipper closure, side mesh pockets and a relective band. Millers is providing snacks and bottled water inside each bag. One per paid participant.
You can choose to start at Millers ODU or at Benchtop, but the afterparty is at Smartmouth. Most participants will start and end in Chelsea, close to Benchtop and Smartmouth. Don’t have a bike? Pace bikeshare will provide ample rental bikes at each end of the route and offers a discount code for this event.
***Riders must obey traffic laws and are responsible for their own bikes. Please bring ID. Helmets are encouraged for all riders and required by City law for riders 14 and under.***
All bikers must stay on the event route. Ride Marshals will enforce trail rules and help cyclists ride safely on the Elizabeth River Trail. There are some street crossings where Marshals will assist cyclists. Riders must obey Marshals and traffic laws for your own safety and the safety of others. Alcohol can only be consumed at the event venues, not on the trail or in parking lots.
